Shipping & Returns

Shipping Domestic

All of our knives are shipped with Australia Post. Domestic Australian standard shipping is included in the purchase amount. International shipping is worked out by Organic Blades based on your location. All knives will be shipped with signature on delivery. Please note Organic Blades takes no responsibility for knives that have been lost or misplaced during the shipping process. If a knife is misplaced during shipping it is the purchaser’s responsibility to follow up the misplaced knife with the shipping provider.

Due to the nature of handmade items we can only estimate the delivery time. While we will endeavour to meet our deadlines we do not accept any responsibility for failure to deliver within the time stated. The Customer acknowledges that our failure to deliver the Goods strictly in accordance with the agreement shall not entitle the Customer to treat the sale as repudiated.

Returns

Organic Blades does its best to ensure all knives that it sells to be free from defect in material, construction or workmanship for 5 years under normal use and following the care instructions. This excludes damage caused by misuse or accident. This warranty extends only to the product's original purchaser. Chips in the knife blades, broken knife tips, discolorations from food and rust spots are not covered.

Any alterations to the blade after-sale (eg. change of handle, engraving) voids this warranty.

This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies that may be available to consumers under law. If a claim is made, Organic Blades will at its sole option, either repair, remedy or if necessary refund any product which in our opinion does not meet our workmanship standards.​

If you feel the need to return a purchase to us for any reasons, we are happy to discuss. Please follow the instructions below;

1. email us at here to inform us that you are sending goods back and please include your original order reference number

2. Within this email, please explain why you are returning the goods

3. Please ensure any item you are returning is in its original condition

4. Please post any returns to us using AusPost Signature on Delivery, Organic Blades cannot accept responsibility for any items lost in transit. Unfortunately, we cannot refund postage costs unless you are returning an item that is faulty

5. As soon as we receive your return we will email you to keep you informed

6. If we agree that a refund is necessary, we will credit your account, or organise an exchange.

Age restrictions

By purchasing a knife, the purchaser is confirming that they are 18 years of age or older. ID may be requested and failure to produce appropriate documentation will result in your order being cancelled.​

Waiver and release

During all such times that you are on Organic Blades premises or using an Organic Blades knife both your property and your person shall be at your own risk. You agree that Organic Blades shall not be liable for any loss, damage or theft of any property belonging to you or your guest occurring on Organic Blades premises except where caused by gross negligence of Organic Blades. Additionally, Organic Blades shall not be liable for any death, personal Injury or illness occurring to you or your guest on an Organic Blades premises or as a result of the use of an Organic Blades knife or the use of any facilities or equipment provided by Organic Blades.
